Cinema & the City: Paris à travers le cinéma
Une soirée immersive avec Ruby Boukabou
Step into the magic of Paris through the lens of cinema in this unique cultural evening presented by Alliance Française de Newcastle.
Join Paris-based writer and cultural commentator Ruby Boukabou, author of The Movie Lover’s Guide to Paris, for an inspiring journey through the City of Light as seen on screen. Blending storytelling, visuals, and insider anecdotes, Ruby will guide you along a cinematic walk through iconic Parisian locations featured in film — from the banks of the Seine to hidden gems known only to true movie lovers.
This engaging and interactive talk invites you to experience Paris as both a real city and a cinematic stage. The evening will include a Q&A session, a short interactive quiz, and the opportunity to connect with fellow Francophiles.
The event will conclude with abook signing and a relaxed moment over drinks and nibbles.
✨ A must for film lovers, travel enthusiasts, and anyone passionate about French culture.
