All films are screened at Event Cinemas Kotara.

Ticket prices

Alliance Française de Newcastle members receive the Concession price.  

Choose the Concession priced ticket when booking online via the Event Cinemas Kotara website.
If buying a ticket at the cinema box office, show your membership card to receive the Concession price.

Booking tickets 

Box office - buy your tickets at the box office Event Cinemas Kotara before or on the night of the film screening

Online - buy tickets on online on the Event Cinemas Kotara website.   P rior to you entering the cinema you must either:

1. Go to the ticket counter and show your electronic booking confirmation to receive your movie ticket.

Or

2. Download the Event Cinemas App and book your cinema ticket. At the cinema, log onto the Event Cinemas App and book in to redeem your movie ticket.

Or 

3. Use the  Self Serve Ticket Collection at the ticket counter to redeem your movie ticket.  

Arrive early

Please arrive at the cinema at least 15 minutes before 7pm to allow enough time to book in or collect your tickets and be seated in the cinema before the screening commences.

COVID-19 Safe Plan

Event Cinemas Kotara has a Covid Safe Plan.  

Hand sanitiser is available at the cinema on entry and throughout the complex.

The wearing of face masks is a personal choice when in Westfield Kotara and in the cinema complex.

Parking at Westfield Kotara

Westfield Kotara uses number plate recognition for parking at the centre and the first 2 hours are free.

Download the Westfield Plus App on your mobile phone and add your number plate and you can get 4 hours parking for free.  Westfield Plus members also get free parking with entry after 5pm.

If you don't have the Westfield Plus App, you can extend parking if you enter your number plate at the parking booth in the cinema foyer.
