Looking for a different way to practise your French?

Join us during the Spring School Holidays for four days of French immersion exploring the wonderful world of French cinema.

Designed for adult learners at A2–B1 level, this interactive workshop combines French language practice, film clips, cultural discovery, games and creative activities. You'll practise French in a relaxed and engaging environment while discovering French films, actors, characters and cinematic culture.

🎬 What will we do?

Over four mornings, you will:

• 🎥 Explore French cinema – discover a variety of French films and short clips, from classics to contemporary cinema, comedy and drama.
• 💬 Improve your French – develop your vocabulary, listening comprehension and speaking skills through authentic film extracts and activities.
• 🗣️ Discuss & express yourself – talk about films, characters and themes, share your opinions and learn useful expressions for discussing cinema.
• 🎭 Learn through interactive activities – take part in games, quizzes, role-plays and creative activities inspired by the films you discover.
• 🇫🇷 Immerse yourself in French language and culture – the workshop will be taught in French, with activities adapted to A2–B1 learners.

You don't need to be a cinema expert – just bring your curiosity and your envie de parler français!

Is this workshop for me?

This workshop is ideal if you have already studied some French and are approximately A2 or B1 level.

You don't need perfect French! The aim is to use the French you already know, develop your confidence and learn through a fun and immersive experience.
