FRENCH CLASSES IN 2020: important dates


All our adult and children classes will start from Monday 3rd of February 2020. 

TERM 1 : Monday 3rd of February to Saturday 4th of April.

TERM 2: Monday 27th of April to Saturday 27th of June.

As the 8th of June is a public holiday, the classes will be rescheduled on Monday 29th of June. 

TERM 3: Monday 20th of July to Saturday 19th of September.

TERM 4: Monday 12th of October to Saturday 12th of December.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING TERM 4 

       => Standard ADULT CLASSES are conducted entirely ONLINE or PARTIALLY ONLINE (6 online classes and three face-to-face classes) - except from the français renforcé and advanced groups. 
If we have four or less students per class, the class will be conducted for 1h30 instead of 2 hours.

      
       => HSC Café blabla are conducted face-to-face in Term 4 unless arranged differently with the school.

     => TRAMPOLINE, LES GRANDS are face-to-face.
For children classes on Saturday mornings, enrolment will be available for 4 weeks in Term 4 (and not 9 weeks). 
    => No LES PETITS FRANCOPHONES class in Term 4. 

 
Please note that some of our classes are 8 weeks long and not 9 weeks long. Therefore, they will finish a week earlier than the above dates.

Standard courses

For our adult classes located at the University of Newcastle, you can access the map here to find where the McMullin  and Behavioural sciences buildings are situated.
For our classes at Level 1, 799-803 Hunter Street, Newcastle West, you can access the map here.  The office is located upstairs (once you are on level 1, it is the door facing the stairs).

    • 1 Group on Wednesday afternoons, from 6pm to 8pm -   PARTIALLY ONLINE 
      3 Face-to-Face classes on 28/10, 11/11 and 25/11
       Advanced course
    • 1 Group on Tuesday evenings,  from 4pm to 6pm -  PARTIALLY ONLINE
      5 Face-to-Face classes and 4 classes online via Zoom. 
      Face-to-face on: 20/10, 03/11, 17/11, 01/12, 08/12.

    • 1 Group on Friday afternoons, from 3 pm to 4 pm at Saint Joseph Hall,
    • 1 Group on Saturday mornings, from 9.15am to 10.15am  at 799-803 Hunter Street, Newcastle West - ONLY FOR 4 WEEKS IN TERM 4
    • 1 Group on Saturday mornings, from 10.30 am to 11.30 am  at 799-803 Hunter Street, Newcastle West. ONLY FOR 4 WEEKS IN TERM 4
