Discover Le Paris de Caillebotte

We are delighted to welcome Corinne Estrada, an international art speaker who presents talks for major organisations, galleries and museums around the world.

With Corinne, discover Gustave Caillebotte — Parisian dandy, bourgeois of the Empire, and one of the most accomplished painters of the 1870s. Iconic masterpieces such as Les Raboteurs de parquet (1875) and Rue de Paris, temps de pluie (1877) reveal the power and originality of his artistic vision. Long overlooked for more than 150 years, Caillebotte’s work received major recognition through a landmark retrospective at the Musée d’Orsay.

In this art talk, Corinne Estrada takes us behind the scenes of Haussmann’s booming Paris and invites us to rediscover Impressionism from a fresh and unexpected perspective.

Corinne Estrada in a few words

Born in Montmartre, Corinne grew up in Paris before moving to Sydney in 2018, where she founded Talking the Arts in partnership with the National Art School.

🗣️ This talk will be presented in English.
