Art PRIZE For All

Competition Details

• Categories: Open to all forms of visual art.
• Age: The competition is open to all ages.
• Participation: Both amateurs and professionals are welcome.

How to Participate

1. Registration: Submit your completed registration form by August 22, 2024.
2. Submission of Works: All works must be submitted by August 22, 2024.
3. Exhibition and Award Ceremony: All works will be exhibited at Alliance française premises, 61-63 Scott Street, Newcastle, where winners will be announced and awarded.

Prizes

The prizes, generously offered by our donor, Yves Hernot and Alliance française de Newcastle include:

• 1st Prize: $500(Adult prize) /$150(Youth prize) 
• 2nd Prize: $250(Adult prize)/$100(Youth prize)

The 1st and 2nd prizes are discerned and generously offered by our donor, Yves Hernot.

• 3rd Prize: French goodies and Double Cinema Tickets for French Movies organised by Alliance française Newcastle. 

The third prizes will be decided by popular vote. An urn will be placed in the art gallery for visitors to cast their votes for their favorite artworks.

• Entries Open: Monday 24 June 2024 
• Entries Close: Thursday 22  August 2024 
• Opening and Youth prize announced: Saturday 24  August 2024 – 12 pm
• Opening and  Adult prize announced: Saturday 24  August 2024 – 6 pm

Exhibition Open

• Friday 23 August 2024  from 3 pm to 7 pm
• Saturday 24 August 2024 from 9 am to 7 pm

DELIVERY OF WORKS

Artworks can be delivered to Alliance Française, 61-63 Scott street Newcastle on the following days and times:

• Mondays between 6 pm and 8 pm.
• Tuesdays  between 9.30 am and 3 pm or between 6 pm and 8 pm.
• Wednesdays between 6 pm and 8 pm.
• Thursdays  between 9.30 am and 3 pm or between 6 pm and 8 pm.
• Saturday between 9 am and 11.30 am.

$7 for members/per artwork 
$10 for non-members/per artwork
