The Committee

The Alliance Française de Newcastle is an Australian not-for-profit association and a registered charity.

It is run by a dedicated team of volunteer committee members who generously give their time and expertise to ensure the continuity and development of French classes and cultural events throughout the year.

The AFN General Manager

In addition to the committee, the Alliance Française de Newcastle is supported by a General Manager, Gwendoline Mooney, who oversees the day-to-day operations of the organisation.

This includes coordinating classes and teachers, managing student enrolments, responding to enquiries, maintaining the website, and organising AFN events throughout the year.
