"Les petits francophones" are classes conducted in French in a friendly and supportive environment and are structured around fun, exciting, and challenging play-based learning activities: singing, dancing, story-telling, art and craft, games.
Children will engage in activities to expand their vocabulary and develop and/or correct sentence building and syntax, as well as reading readiness skills.
Please note that “Les Petits Francophones” is not a class teaching French as a foreign language. It is designed to teach French language and culture to children who have a French-speaking background: children need to at least understand French, and French should be spoken at home.
The accompanying parent/carer (if you would like to stay for the class and help your child/ren through the activities) should be willing to communicate in French.
