It is conducted F2F at Level 1, 799-803 Hunter Street.

We conduct classes based on the school timetable. You can refer to our "Calendar and Timetable" page for more information about the holidays and for more information about the location of the class.

For this course, you will need to purchase the textbook Cosmopolite 1. It is available on our website at a preferential price with the AF membership card.
A valid membership is required in order to enroll in this course
Objectives

At the end of this course you should have reached level A1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR): an instrument for plurilingual education. This level is described as:

  • Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases.
  • Can introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and objects he/she has.)

Cosmopolite 1 is the textbook we use for the Beginners and Continuing Beginners courses.

Using a variety of resources, this textbook is a great way to learn the French language and culture through real life situations shared by French, francophone and francophile people around the world.
